St. Lawrence River sirens.
I call these trees this because they are calling my name! I have zero experience climbing tall pines, the only ones I have climbed have been to do removals, which I hate because I hate getting sticky! lol
this is a grove of 50 + trees, many in the 80-100' range, but a dozen or more in the 100-150' range? there is one monster that is taller than the rest and is on the lowest ground.
pics and video do not do it justice.
there are a lot of the taller trees within 20 feet of each other, perfect for doing traverses

they are about a 10 min drive from my house, I found this grove on a trail run.
access is good with 2 points of entry and a 5 minute hike
I would be happy to extend an invitation to anyone here that has experience climbing big conifers recreationally.
I'm right across the river from northern NY state, with 2 international bridges east and west from here about 30 min away.
here is some video
happy new year folks!
