Thanks for the video Moss. It nice to see other climbers techniques in action and can be very helpful in developing skills.

I noticed you are using your Pantin and your free foot together. This is a great idea and would surely help to prevent an oversized right leg. May I offer the following suggestion....Try using the drt rope walker set-up Image pioneered by Beranek, it may be a little quicker and would require a little more gear but is much more efficient. I made my own using a used Petzl basic, some webbing and a bulk bungee from onrope1.

Thanks for the comments. I've seen the Beranek setup, very nice but my technique works very well for me, and as you say the Beranek setup requires additional gear. Currently my technique is not holding me back on DRT ascent speed. I also use the technique on a super minimal SRT system for shorter ascents in special circumstances, no footloops of any kind required for two leg side-by-side power.
