 New Tribe Yellowjacket feedback?
Now that some of you have been hopefully climbing on it for awhile, what do you think? Could it be a trusty light replacement for my battered Tengu harness? Not that I'm going to stop climbing on my Tengu no matter how battered it gets -AJ

 Re: New Tribe Yellowjacket feedback?
Moss, I like mine well enough, but since this is my first harness, I have nothing to compare it to, except my homemade bosun seat, which I must say is more comfortable and easier to put on.
I am interested to hear what your impression is of the yellowjacket.

The "no padding" legstraps are excellent, I'd like more padding in the waist belt. With that change I'd want one in camo The New Tribe Tengu still reigns supreme for me. -AJ

 Re: New Tribe Yellowjacket feedback?
I have the Flak Jacket (olive drab Yellow Jacket)
It is all I climb in anymore. My Tengu, Special Vi, and Basic all collect dust now.
I had a roblem with a pressure point where the carabiner loops were sewn in, but I removed them and re-stiched the harness and the problem was solved.
It is not very light weight. It might even weight more than a Tengu. Webbing is heavy. I does however pack up very small.
All and all I like it. If bulk is not an issue just stick to a Tengu.

 Re: New Tribe Yellowjacket feedback?
As Surveyor it's my first personal harness but i've tryed some others like Petzl Sequoia.
I really like it. It's the most confortable harness i've used, the lightest too. I feel secured and ready to keep hanged for hours. I just miss a large sliding bridge and EN certification would be a great point. But i really like it.
