Post Suspension Trauma {video & PDF}
This video is painfully long but probably very important to know for rescuers, trainers, bosses ... everyone. You can just listen to the audio while doing other stuff on the computer, or riding in the truck. It's just a PowerPoint presentation but an excellent presentation for all rescuers about 'Harness Hang Syndrome'.

Here's a link to a PDF so it can be down-loaded for reading off-line, printing for a class handout, or general reference:

Risks and Management of Prolonged Suspension in an Alpine Harness

Just read the PDF. A real eye-opener; one of those correctives for "what you do know that ain't so". Thanks much.

I saved and read the pdf on a plane trip earlier today. A few times I found myself subconsciously moving my legs to keep the blood flow going. Scary stuff.
