Post **CLIMBER ATTACKED BY SQUIRREL ON CRACK > EATS BRAINS**
GOOD, I have your attention.....that's actually pretty funny too~
We are getting to the wire on the 2009 Rendezvous. If you want to get the low, low price of $125, which includes camping and a beautiful limited edition T-shirt, PLEASE act now and send me a check before the end of MAY. Right now I don't have enough money to buy a one way plane ticket to New Jersey. The only way to keep the price this low is volume, Volume, VOLUME.... so guys I need a little more volume!! The price will go up in June and again for those waiting to the last minute. So don't wait! I know you just got that big tax refund check, don't blow it on new rope. That fuzz won't kill you.
I need a minimum of 1 person per day for the month to have enough to pay the deposit. That is not that many since I am hoping to break 100 climbers.
I spoke with the climbers at my Spring Climb-In and we are pretty sure we can pull off a huge pot luck dinner on Saturday night at the Rendezvous. So start thinking about that. Mentioned before but bares repeating.
Please send and make the checks out to: Blue Ridge Tree Climbing, LLC
182180 Blue Ridge Pkwy
Meadows of Dan, VA. 24120

A bunk in a cabin is an additional $100 per person for 4 night. You can either include that in the check for the event or wait on that decision. I have a much later dead line on the cabin rental. We have a women's only cabin that sleeps 7.
I have motels listed in a previous post if you don't want to stay on sight. Please call or email me anytime for additional information.

Post I'm OK.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing fine. I really wasn't using my brain that much anyway. You can ask Fell Glenn.
In the mean time, how's about some of our fellow climbers getting signed up & paid up. I'm going to cry if the rendevous gets called off for lack of interest.

Post T-SHIRT SIZE
Hi Gang,
I am now thinking I should do a t-shirt of the "Squirrel on Crack" along with the top ten reasons to wear a helmet!
Anyway, if you are sending me a check for the Rendezvous please include your T-Shirt SIZE. I am actually getting some responses so hopefully I have nothing to worry about.
Thanks to everyone that attended my Spring Climb-In. As usual my lost and found box got a little bigger. I have 1 fleece pull over and a 3 piece tent pole that someone left just down from the Tipi. I think the pull over is Glen's and the pole might be Jim K's.
Let me know guys I have them in my box. Although that pull over looks like it might fit me!
Everyone have a great week,
Bob in VA.

I would be suprised if it is mine then. I have XXL pullovers. Bob, you could probably use my pullovers as moo moos.

Check the size if it is XXL, it could possibly be mine, however, I think that I still have my pullover that I brought. If it is xl or l, I can assure you that it is not mine.

From what I understand Bob, Washington DC in the '80's faced a large crack problem affecting even our bush tail friends. I heard that Marion Barry tried the "Son of Sam" defense and claimed a squirrel made him do it!

I really hope to make it to the redevouz, I'll be going to an interview this afternoon with an arborist. Time, perhaps, to turn my passion into money?
