I began posting one handed knot tying videos on Youtube just about 10 months ago. The total views have exceeded 10 000.
I take this as a sign that ropework is as fundamental to our nature as gazing into the flickering flames of a fire. NPR just this week was reporting evidence of rope making (thread) going back 30 000 years. I'm sure if I had a jazzy lady in a bikini on the video that the number of hits would be higher. This goes to show that plain old knot tying finds interest out there.
