 Something wrong?
What's wrong in this photo? This is a nice system posted by a pro climber, no offense to them at all they know what they're doing. However it is a good teaching moment. This is an example of a state-of-the-art pro climber DdRT system. I looks pretty groovy but would it actually be an optimal system for your climbing? Maybe so, maybe not. What's wrong? -AJ

 Re: Something wrong?
IMHO it looks like the hitch would be riding up in your face due to the fact that its attached to the floating bridge.
I prefer my system as short as possible.
Just my opinion,

 Re: Something wrong?
There are two legs to the hitch. The rig is pretty much standard for pro climbers, there's going to be a floating bridge, there's going to be a hitch climber pulley configured as shown, if not two.
There's a still a problem, it's not with their system configuration, it's more basic than that. -AJ

 Re: Something wrong?
That's it, gate is not fully locked. Sleeve spring is probably tired or there's debris in inside the gate sleeve. -AJ

 Re: Something wrong?
Good call on that gate The legs on the VT just look off compared to what mine look like when I braid... The one comes almost straight down while the other wraps a few times. No big deal, just not what I do Keep these pop quizzes coming. There good for the brain Dan

 Re: Something wrong?
Check you gate, or see your fate.
In this case it looks like the common squeeze the gate check still would not have indicated a problem.
I'll bookmark this thread for future auto vs screw debates. No need to derail this thread with that old dead horse.
Thanks for posting Moss. I feel more confident than ever with my choice.
