Climbed a pine the hard way, my first SRT pitch hung over a clump of dead limbs. That's 'cause my first throw was over a perfect branch, then I hung the bag. So it's rescue the bag, rescue the climb mode. Makes for a good day of climbing, finally got everything set up and helped a climber make her first plus 100' climb.
Ropes finally set, time to climb. Climber on left on 90' cinched SRT pitch. Climber on the right opted for DRT, her rope is 120' she's on the lowest live limb on the tree, required a split tail, not a enough rope left over to tie up a trad DRT system.

First SRT and conifer climb, doing it the Yo-Yo way.

At her high point 115' and feeling good, the tip top is 126'
